TanzLabor Ulm is a platform that facilitates and promotes artistic creation in the field of dance. TanzLabor offers participants creative opportunities in four areas to develop innovative artistic content, while facilitating deeper audience connections to dance.

Open Call


We have a new open call for all dance creators who are looking for a stage for their performance.

#ShowMeYourMoves! is a performance platform for dance makers in southern Germany. The TanzLabor at ROXY Ulm is looking to show case dance of all styles and backgrounds by bringing together different dancemakers to perform on one stage together. #ShowMeYourMoves! is an eclectic evening of short dance pieces that looks to foster greater exchanges within dance community and our audience.

The third #ShowMeYourMoves! performance will take place on Saturday the 17th
December 2022 at ROXY gGmbH Schillerstraße 1/12, 89077 Ulm.

We are looking for:
- Dance-makers based or from Southern Germany (close to Ulm).
- Dance pieces between 10-15 minutes
- The piece should not require any significant stage design or complex technical set up
- The work should be appropriate to perform for a black box stage 7x12 metres
- We are looking for dance pieces that are performed by 1-4 dance artists.

We offer:
- Costs of return travel to Ulm
- Overnight accommodation if required
- Each piece that is invited will receive a performance fee in line with the BFDK
- A professional recording of your performance
